Hello, how do I identify what size rear drums I have?  318, 4 wheel manual drum car, 8 3/4" rear.  I believe I have the 10" diameter, 1.75" width.

I am also wondering if there is a larger size (wider?) I can upgrade to without having to change out backing plates?  I think I have found some 10" X 2.5" drums for the rear and matching shoes, can I just put those on and go?  Thanks in advance

all my Chargers are 10" x 2.5" drums from the factory...sounds like you got somethign else different...

I think you will have to change the backing plates. Yours should be flat(ish) and I believe the wider ones are inset toward the center of the rear. Another member here is in the process of upgrading also. He should know for sure.

I looked at my rear drums and they are definitely more narrow than the front drums, which are 10" by 2.5."  They (rears) are most likely the 10" X 1.75," is this a factory set up?  It all looks pretty stock, thanks again

you don't say what year and kind of car...so telling you if it's factory brakes or not is kinda hard
