Charger1973

Im looking to buy both of these for my 73 Charger.  I have seen them for sale in sets of both before but I really dont want to do that since I only want the front at this point.  My reason for wanting the front spoiler first is so the body man can be sure my front valance is actually straight and will match up perfectly with the spoiler when its installed...  (better safe than sorry!)

Here is what I am wanting to know:

1. I have heard there are differences in the repro front spoilers on the market, what are they and which is better?

2. Is the same true for repro rear spoilers as well or are they all the same?

3. Who has the best deals on the better quality spoilers?

Also look at this pic (I know its small sorry) but it looks like the spoiler is warped or something.  I want to avoid ones that will do that.

The front chin spoiler is not warped.  It just follows the contours of the valance.  There are fiberglass and plastic ones. The best place to buy spoilers is from First Place Auto in Ohio.  I think their website is www.fpap.com. The 73's didn't have spoilers, but I think the kits come with templates.  Also on 73 decklids you can see the flat metal under the decklid to see where they mount to.  You would just have to drill away.  Good luck.

I agree with First Place Auto as a very good source. My Charger has the front and rear.

I just ordered the economy 70 style wing for my 73.  It was like $180 delivered from 1st place,  I have the original repop 70 go wing from them for my Challenger and it looks great.  This will not be that quality but I will let you know when it gets here.  That price includes every thing needed to install.  The wing for my challenger was about $320 several years ago, but it looks great.

I like a lot front spoiler... gets a smooth look mounted on car, but IMHO rear one just look put it there without relationship with Car.

I like the look of the rear wing on 3rd gens,  to each his own I guess.
