Scaring a peeper with blank rounds could be fun . . . unless he turns out to be strapped himself.  He would not only be capable of firing back, he'd do it.  If not out of anger then just as a self-defense impulse.

IMHO you're better off not pointing a gun at a total stranger in the dark of night if you aren't set up to actually use it.  Even when you're legally in the right.

That is why the last 2 rounds should aways be real bullets.  I'd just feel bad if i forgot how many i shot and kept going till the clip was empty...
