So at Carlisle I met this couple that had a low mile Valiant like mine. Theirs was a /6 75 with about 19,000 miles on it while mine is a 318 74 with 17,000 miles. Anyway I was talking to them and apparently they both have hemi Chargers and they personally knew the guy that designed the 1967 dart. So does anybody know this couple, they were very nice people.

Dan,

If their chargers were 66s or 67s, I have seen them at carlisle before.  I think it was a light metallic purple or champagne kinda color.

If it is the ones I am thinking of, they have been in one of the Mopar mags. I think they live in Northern Ind. somewhere.

Are we talking about Cam Moore.  Pair of silver 66 Chargers - one an original hemi 4 speed car and hers a hemi installed in a 318 car with an automatic.  I believe they are out of Auburn Indiana.  He hosted a couple of Charger meets at the Auburn Inn.  Great time, wish they could do it again.
