Vent window

On the vent windows on my 69 the long chrome piece that the bottom of the glass slides into there is a rubber piece the the glass sits into does anybody know where I can get the rubber piece or if they even make them yet. Thanks for any info

I think its called glass setting tape and you can get it at your local glass installer store.

Thanks for the info guys it helps out alot I wasnt sure what to do. Im getting ready to send the chrome pieces that the glass sits away to get redone.

My repro glass had an arch to it and wouldn't fit all the way into the rail. I set it in windshield adhesive without the plastic. Also, you can make the rubber mounting hardware with plumbing washers and some rubber tubing.

Does anybody know exactly what size glass setting tape to use to set the vent windows

I used a inner tube from a bicycle tire and it worked fine for me. I set it in with a little black silicone and it worked perfect.
