Broken Grill Clip Repair

I thought I might share a workable solution to some broken grill clip locations I had on my grill.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures, but I found a couple I borrowed -

This one is from Shakey and if you look toward the upper right side of the grill you can see the broken attachment clip location. I had several of these that were broken on my grill for many years and could not figure out how to fix them and still keep it looking stock with the attachment hardware.


I search on here, but could not find any information. I ended up using a couple of 3/16 drywall toggle bolts. The factory screw went right into them and boy do they hold the grill in place! Fixed a problem for me that I have had to deal with for many years. Just wish I had taken a few pictures  :brickwall: Hopefully this will help someone else.
