I have a 68 charger rt with 11 inch drums. I have been looking to buy new drums but cant find anyone selling them. I can find them for a 70
charger. I don't think there are any differences. Am I missing something.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Sublime/Sixpack

Have you tried Rock Auto?

P.S. I've not had good results with Centric brand brake parts.
1970 Sublime R/T, 440 Six Pack, Four speed, Super Track Pak

they don't list the 11 inch drums as an option

I thought the fronts were 11 inch and the rears were 10 inch

I have a 10 inch drum, in my pile of used parts, and it does not fit even without the brake shoes installed. As I understand it, the rt's and heavy duty brake option chargers had 11 inch drums all the way around, if you had the disc brake option then you got the 10 inch drums on the rear. the part number for the 11 inch drums were 2405798

UFO

They have them listed for a '69 as well.Could be just a mistake on their webpage.
I don't think there is a difference between '68 + '69.
How about using the part number from the '69 listing and google search it on some other suppliers site.

I will give it a try.
thanks!

I checked my parts books, 68/69/70 B bodies with 11x2.5" rear brakes use the same drum (some have fins, some don't), so you should be ok with a drum listed for any of those years and brake size.

Moparparts

From the factory 68 and early built 69's used a smooth drum with an external spring and mid year 69 and all 70 used the finned drums on the rear but they will interchange for 68-70. I have one very nice unfinned one in one of my e-bay stores.  I also have a very nice used pair of 69 Dated 11 x 2 1/2 finned ones that came from a low mileage 69 Road Runner available so if you are interested PM or E-Mail me.
