Trunk wire retainer tab pics needed

My trunk is missing the fold down wire retaining tabs for the rear light harness.  I have the one that's on the side of the rear driver's wheel tub, and nothing from there back.  I know there is one behind the wheel tub, the plastic loop on the harness fits onto that tab.  Then I have heard there are two tabs on the rear valance under the tail light housings?  Anyway, if someone could post pics of each retaining tab that is supposed to be in the trunk I would appreciate it.

There's 6 tabs total on my 70 driver's side wheel well tub. Plus 3 on the trunk ext (amd) and yes 5 on the rear valence(amd) too. On my phone, but will try to get you pics anyway.

Taken, uploaded, and posted with my phone!

Thanks Domino, big help.  My wheel tub appears to be good to go, just the extension and rear valence is missing them.  Would you be able to provide pics of the tail light housings straight on so I can get an idea of where they are positioned, left to right?  Only two under the passenger tail light housing?  I would have thought there'd be three like the driver's side since there a marker light over there also.

Thanks again,

Dan

The 3 tabs on the trunk extension from AMD are a little different compared to the originals.  Those 3 tabs should be two sided and spot welded to the trunk ext in the center.  These 3 fold onto the harness from both sides, like the firewall tabs for the engine harness.

The 5 valence tabs from AMD appear correct, they are one sided as shown.  My originals look glued onto the valance, I can't tell if there's a spot weld.
I sent you an email with measurements, but will post here too.

On the AMD Trunk Extension:
The fwd tab is 4" from the wheel well tub, the middle tab is 8.75" from the 1st tab and the most rear tab is 20" from the 1st tab.

On the original rear valence: All measurements are from the tab furthest to the passenger side, align this tab with the inner bumper bolt hole as shown:
8.75", 20.75", 30", 40"

You're welcome, you know how us '70 guys have to stick together around here!  :icon_smile_big:

'69 had a reflector and didn't need a 6th tab, maybe it was an oversight going to the next year...but '68 had a light too, so who knows.

Also, the highest tab on my wheel well had never been bent over to hold the harness, it simply laid on the upper flat portion of the pan

I got the e-mail, many thanks.  I don't entirely follow what you're saying here...

Also, the first tab on the extension closest to the wheel well, I have seen many pictures of it being a single sided piece.  The tail light harness doesn't fit under this tab, it has a white plastic loop and the tab slides into the loop.  Are you sure the extension tabs are supposed to be double-sided like the firewall?

The tab on the wheel well nearest the trunk pan to floor pan seam didn't look like it was ever used on my car...it was vertical and tight against the wheel well and had never been bent.  I bent it while blasting and there was no paint behind it.

I think so, but I guess I need to pull my old extension out of the scrap pile and look again.

The ones on the ext are the 2 sided kind. THe are very close if not the same as the ones on the right side valve cover. Thats the first time I seen that style on the AMD ext. All of the ones Ive seen have some wierd huge things that are like nothing Ive seen on any cars from the era.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
