Nacho you owe me man!  :RantExplode:

Took the '69 out today for a little cruise.....cruising along....30 mph roll....WHAM...car sputters out...pull to the side of the road.....rattata....ratatataaaa...ratatttaaaa....nuttin!!

Wont start!!!!!   Fuel is good NO SPARK!!

Pullout my spare module (always carry a spare full ign system coil, balasts, module etc) plug it in & ground it....vaarrroomm....starts up.
Proceed to swap out the module...along comes a concerned citizen cruising by in a 69 Chevelle....stops & BS's with me for a while while I swap out the module...go to try it out....nuttin....no start again!!!
Now I swap out the coil & she fires up with the spare module but not with the FBO one.
Button her up & say my thank yous to my new buddy with a screamin yellow Chevelle & head home.

get home & try to swap in the FBO module back in...nuttin!!  Swapped back in his coil & she started this time.  WTF?!??!

Well as of now my A688 module is toast & the matching high output coil is suspect....

Thanks Nacho!!!!  :slap:

;)

PS----Rob, dont say ANYTHING!!!  :slap:

LX101?
Summit piece ?
Mopar piece ?

or will go with the HR688 ?

( I will give to a friend of mine the two damaged Chromed Mopar modules I have to check wich internal component reads fail and can be changed locally )

Right now I am  using the orangebox I had in the trunk....I have a good chrome box as well that I will swap in eventually....
the FBO coil is suspect now as well....I have the stock resto coil back in there.

never really noticed before but the resto coil seemed to pretty hot when I got home (noticed when I was swapping the coils out)
