Very interesting    what a great idea!  Not like im ever going to use the lighter anyway.   I may just do this for my after market temp gage I have to tuck it aways someplace unseen.

Thanks for the idea

I have an electric oil psi & temp gauge mounted to the fiberglass cover under the pass side of my dash (A/C car)  They are full sweep gauges & I mounted them upside down to see them better from the drivers seat.....when looking into the car you cant see them because they are tucked under the dash....
I also have a voltmeter tucked under the dash mounted near the foot dimmer switch...

I installed a 12v power plug in the console to charge my phone, GPS etc....
The wire sticking up out of the console is for my wired remote that controls the radio in the glovebox....

Hmm....thats gonna be a tough one....I know i did buy it off ebay used.

It is fairly compact (I think they have even smaller ones now)  I know I cut off half of the "shield" on the front to better see it from drivers seat.....the tach read out any way....the yellow shift LED's are pretty bright

Actually I believe its this one....Ultra Shift Light made by Stewart Warner....

Yes its a factory electric trunk release...from an 80's car I believe...had to cut out the trunk cover a bit to get it to fit...

yup...I did the same thing on my 66 Charger but I used the vacuum release

still had to cut a bit from the rear cover panel
