Anybody have original/nos fender scoops for a Daytona? The spots where the bolts screw into the mounts are broke. Repairs can be done if I know what type of material they are made out off. If no NOS ,who has the best reproductions?

Also am looking for an original hood for a Daytona, not the regular 1970 Charger hood. And does anyone have a rear back glass or know who has a reproduction?  Thx

Mike Goyette is probably as good a person as can be found for the scoop information. He sells excellent reproductions. If you post the extent of the damage to your originals here he could likely tell you the probability of restoring them. You are not the first with scoop damage, it's common. There are originals out there, but costly.

The hood, you and about 30 others want one, so if someone had one you'd have to outbid a small crowd.

Best of luck on your project.

What is the difference in the hoods from a 69 Daytona to a regular 70 Charger ?

I think the 70 hoods had reinforcement ridges in the front just under the lip...I had to remove them in order to make the hood fit right with the Daytona latch tray

My original scoops were in bad shape.I used masking tape to create a form then injected plastic epoxy in to void. It looked crude when I peeled the tape when dry. I then used a die grinder to shape it close, then sanded the rest of the way. I was able to carefully tap the new threads. It turned out great and I was able to use the original scoops.
