Best bumper chrome shop?

Sad day,

My bumpers got sent to some chrome shop in Miami, where they did a single-plate crap job without even straightening. We went to mount the rear bumper and a tiny crack appeared at a bolt hole-and with only a fingernail I stripped about 1/4 of the bumper chrome, in huge pieces.
I've called around and found a couple shops that do proper repair and triple plating, but I always like to get some first-hand experience. Anybody had their stuff done right, and by whom?

I called them, and I may use them because they have a front in stock and a rear they can plate and exchange before June 1. I'm glad to hear they have a lifetime warranty, they said they don't use copper as a base plate. That concerns me a little, but if they think they can do well enough without it to offer that guarantee, I can probably live with it.
Nu-Chrome http://www.nu-chrome.com/index.htm in Fall River, Mass, triple-plates and can turn mine around in 2 weeks. Pricing was from $320-$500 each, depending on condition. I may go to them just for the copper; of course, if they overpromise I won't have bumpers for the Power Tour.

Don't use Bumper Boyz, if they are even still around.  Junk quality and poor business practices!  Cheap work at a moderate price.

They used to reman your existing ones, maybe they changed up their policies after they were bought by LKQ.  Sorry.

I am sure you can find some place local to you.  I use Stlouis plating. in Mo.  My dad uses a place near Houston MO, both do a great job and stand by there work.

Yeh, I agree.  Run away if you see the Bumper Boyz!   Shoddy work at best and top prices paid.

Librandi's is the best around here. Plus they stand behind their work. I have used them and so have some of my friends.  http://www.carchrome.com/beta/librandi/about.htm  They are a little expensive but worth it IMO.

Tri City did my 69 bumpers.  Including the 4 bumperettes and tax was something like $920 or so.  Had them ready in 3 weeks.  I live in Chattanooga.  Dropped them off and picked them up.  Interestingly, on both trips, Mopar folks were either dropping bumpers off or picking them up while I was there. 
I talked to them about the business and they told me that they were doing OK.  The owner is in his 60's but the son is heavily involved and is either going to or has taken the business over and plans to continue in operation for a long time.

Funny as it sounds but how I was turned onto Tri-city plating was by a bunch of GM friends who have chevelles.   And  who says GM people are all bad?

The "BEST", IMHO, is Martin's in Philly, PA. Hands down. You'll pay out the nose, but his show chrome plating is second to none.
After that, I've heard good things about Paul's Chrome in PA as well.

Other than that, I've heard of the other companies mentioned but never used them. With chrome you get what you pay for. Keystone & Bumper Boyz are cheap, quick turn-around outfits that do NOT specialize in show chrome. Which, judging by your thread title, the "best" is what you're looking for?
