Okay you 66/67 Charger guru's!!     Help me with a question that I've been wondering about for a while now.

This photo was posted here, not to long ago....titled "bookends".  The question is....I noticed that the bumperettes on these two `66 Chargers have them located in different places on the front....why is that?

Of course one of the `66 chargers has a 67 coronet R/T hood on it so it made wonder if the front bumper was a `67 as well.  My cousin and I were talking about this just a few days ago and he reminded me that we have encountered this once before a couple of different mopar car shows.

    Any help!  ???

That's the only reason I can think of.  The guy with the 67 RT hood louver definitely has the bumper guards in the 67 position,so...

That would be my guess as well.  The yellow car has the guards in the correct place.
