Mechanical Fuel Pump Questions

I need to get a new fuel pump for my Charger. I see there are several different types. Most stock type replacements are $30-$40 and high performance pumps are about $100 more.
Is there much difference between the stock type and high performance ones?
Im ot sure what to get or if a high performance one is needed. My car is a mostly stock 440 with LT headers and a holley 650 carb.

The std pump should be just fine

i always use Holley pumps  but to tell you the truth i don't know why .  i just got in that habit . i've never had problem with them

i bought a new carter pump and a comp cams fuel pump push rod last night.
The push rod I bought had a bronze end on it, I didnt realize that when I bought it so I reinstalled the pushrod that was in it.
It looked like the push rod that was in it was fine, It was exactly the same lenghth as the new one when I compaired them.
I havnt had a chance to test it out yet.

Fired up the car last night and the new fuel pump works great.
