Hello, this is piggy-backing off of my last post. I am 16 with a limited budged and was wondering if getting an 80's truck and fixing it up would be good to get me into the automotive restoration world? i have $500-$4000 to invest. What would I be able to do with that. Thanks.

Sure it would.Look at your local for sale web sites or papers.
Parts can still be found at junkyards.Good selection even available as a new replacement.
Resale value might not be high. You have to look at it as a learning tool.
