I have thought on the Ford Sierra kind, since wouln't need mods. I dunno if radiator directly installed would fit thought, but I hate run hoses here and there

something like this

I was looking at these:

...and thinking of a 13" one for oil and a 4" for a steering cooler. Plan is to mount the cooler to a bracket in front of and offset to the side of the radiator. I'm going to use hard lines from the cooler to a remote oil adapter, then hard lines to a junction on the frame rail. The only hose will go from the junction to the block filter adapter.

Interesting idea, but do these cars need this? I am not educated in the oil temps these things run at.

the cooler, the better... save viscosity and oil health

Use defines need, so if your just cruising, no, if your drag racing, not necessarily, if you autocross, no, if your running laps on road courses in the summer, definetly. Just like the cooling system, you can put inline thermostats in the oil system to keep oil out of the coolers until a certain temprature threshold is reached.

well, if driving around the country, is better to have one

I've got a sandwich adapter that fits between the oil pump and the filter and has two  1/2" NPT outlets to run some AN fittings to an oil cooler.  This is so you don't have to relocate your oil filter.  Also, B&M makes some tough coolers that you can mount to the core support.  I've got 2 of them on each side.  1 for tranny and the other for oil.
