I stored my car this winter and went to start it the other day.  And It is a pain in the butt to start up. I can smell gas, so i know im getting some.  After a while it will fire up.  But if I let it run for awhile, then shut it off, it is still pain to start.  I also will get a puff of spoke that comes out of the carb.  I have s feeling im flooding it, but ive never had this problem before..  Any suggestions what is happening. thanks

If you left gas in it over the winter that's surely your problem. This bullshit corn gas will go rotten in a month.

Thanks for the reply Terrible One.  I got it running and took it for a spin.  It ran really rough to start with.  I added some newer gas and it seemed to run better. Hopefully that was the cause.

Glad to hear you got it going! Not only will the E10 seperate quickly but it also attracts water, so I'd be willing to be that's all it was.  :2thumbs:

Next winter try some stable in the gas before parking it.

Yeah, I put Stabil in everything and I have no problems in the spring.

I know I did two winters ago, and I thought I did last year, but I cant remember.  After all the yelling trying to figure this out, I KNOW I wont forget next winter.
