Good stuff, great to hear your'e young feller is going to make a difference amongst  his peers, no hondamatics or other rubbish  :2thumbs:  . My Dad just wasnt into cars, they were only for going from A to B and had to be reliable, lucky for me his brother had a few V8s and sowed the seed early.

Oh yeah, I never really had much blacktop growin' up, and keepin' a car's wheels clean round here is damn near impossible till you hit the black top.

Your a good man, & your right, he will not be able to text with manual steering & a four speed. But they do have big back seats, ah, I mean a lot of sheet metal around them, for crush zones. He will do just fine with your guidance.

WHEELS!
He wanted to go with the "Old Skool" look of the SS/B cars, so I told him he had to have steelies in back and Torque Thrust D's up front..Here's the Custom 8" wheels I made for it using Chrysler centers and FORD truck Wheels for the 8" "ring".....

That is going to be an awesome ride! I love the old school touches as well. That wheel combo will be slick.  :2thumbs:

And here we are with the finished wheel with an old tire on it to kinda give the idea...

I didn't know how this was gonna come out, but One of the persons responsible for gettin' me into cars had a 1967 Satellite with these two scoops off a Dodge Demon on the hood and Chris thought he'd kinda pay omage to his old car with these...You likes?

Updated pics coming soon as we got done with the dash cluster today, did some more bodywork, painted under the hood, got the hood hinges painted, removed the back seat, Built a new fuel filler neck as the old one simply rusted too scale, Redid and installed some of the underhood wiring harness, re-installed headlight buckets and lights, and installed a couple different size tires on the front to set the tone for the look..
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics..
Here we go!

He gets all bent cause most people accociate with the '67 rather than his '66...i guess it's like the '68-'69-'70 thing here..each thinks their year is the greatest..

I don't know if I'm up for the huge PLYMOUTH over the rear wheel like most "Lettered" cars back in the day, but that's how he wants it so..He's already got the SS/B decals ,and he is looking for the old skool Direct Connection for his quarter window..

A little more progress...
Since GOOD Dual exhaust that is mandrel bent costs anywhere from $500.00-$900.00 for a complete set up with mufflers, I decided to go "Green" and recycle some junkyard, Stainless steel, 2 1/2" mandrel bent pieces...
