Getting ready for the show / cruising season and took her out for a quick spin to make sure everything was fine after a long winter hibernation. While I did that my son took a couple of videos of the car.....I'll warn you in advance....he obviously went for the "cloverfield" shakey camera method at times, however there are some half decent moments.

Thanks Chris. I checked all the lights before I took her out so maybe just the angle of the sun? But now you have me wondering so I'll check them again for sure.

Wow that is one beautiful car.  :2thumbs:  I wish my kids were into my car like that.  I was showing my car to someone yesterday with my daughter next to me, and I said, my daughter thinks it's ugly, And she said said, " Yep ". :slap:  Kinda ruins the moment.

A buddy of mine has a 70  44/6 automatic (  which he says is rarer than a 4 spd ) apart and blasted for sale.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Looking good Don.

I can't wait to see it in beautiful PA in just under 3 months.  :drive:

Thanks guys. It isn't all a bed of roses. Later that same day the chain came off his bike, a new bike that he just got last August that he just "had to have"...so the chain comes off and now says his bike is crap and wants a new one. I teach him how to put the chain back on and tell him we are not buying a new bike just because the chain came off and he throws a typical 8 year old fit and says I take it back you aren't the coolest Dad.  ::)

No doubt other Dads here go through the same thing. My youngest guy is great, but my 8 year old is a challenge at times. I think he needs a trip to the cancer ward at the hospital or visit a third world country to understand how good he has it.

Its not always easy ,for sure. The fact is though, atleast for me is that the good far outways the bad. And the moments where you get to be proud of them are truly priceless!

PS---your brake lights working in second vid??

Well hats off to eagle eye 6T9. I double checked my brake lights. They do work however not when I press the brake pedal lightly, only when I press harder. I assume I'll have to adjust the stop lamp switch rearward a smidge so the lights come on as soon as the pedal is depressed.

Ah ha!  :scope:
See that thats what a shakedown run is for!

PS---my 2 teenage girls could care less about my Charger (too loud & smelly)  They are even starting to hate on the 'vert....messes up their hair...sheesh :rotz:

Don, I had the same problem with my '69 with the hydroboost setup (uses it's own adjustable push rod). I got one of those universal repro brake light switch replacements with the threaded barrel. It gives a LOT of adjustment higher or lower. Solved the problem pronto. OK, it's not 100% concourse OEM correct, but neither is the rest of the car by far.
