I picked up the Spring 2011 issue of Motor Trend Classic because it has a feature on the 68 Charger in it.  It has a good looking blue RT on the cover.  And it has a 2011 Charger ad on the back cover.

Didn't even know there was a Motor Trend Classic. Is it new?

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

No it's been out for about a year Troy.  I think it's quarterly but they don't say much about it on the MT site.  This was all I could find and no mention of the current issue.

And yes Red 70, I am sure that I will enjoy it.

Hey.... I was just messing around with you.
You didnt ask for any opinions or try to stir anything up. Your post was a little "basic" so I just decided to screw around. :smilielol:

Fair shot.  I hadn't been able to find a link or even read the article myself yet to give it a critique so it was definitely basic.  But I have heard that there are a bunch of 68 freaks lurking on the site so I thought I'd throw them a bone since we seldom talk about that year.

Ghoste, I was thinking of starting a thread on this same topic!
Reason being: This is a very good month for 1968 Hemi Charger R/Ts in print!

I have those other ones in the stack too but I haven't even looked at them yet.  Looks like a good month for reading as soon as I get a chance.

That's the '68 Hemi Charger R/T Julius [ Restorations by Julius] (before he sold it to Dave), wanted to trade me straight up for my Daytona. I mentioned to him I just had traded a '68 Hemi Charger R/T project for the Daytona. That EE1 R/T is awesome. It's a small world. My Daytona belonged to Dave (owner of the '68), two owners ago.

I'm heading up to Ft. Worth and Texas Motor Speedway to do a photoshoot for Motor Trend Classic magazine on the 27th along with a Superbird, a Ford Talladega and Cyclone Spoiler II. I'm hoping they let us open them puppies up on the high banks.. :)  The article is for the homologation rule and the cars they created in the '69 and '70 season.. For some reason they didn't want the C500.. I mentioned it to them, but they only wanted 4 cars..

Just found the magazine @ Safeway this morning and picked it up.

Beautiful car.  The rest of the magazine is OK.

$15 for a magazine though...wow
