That VIN on the fender tag is for a 1966 4-door six-cylinder Dart?  What is the VIN on the dash?  If you had a title, and are the rightful titled owner to the car, your DMV should be able to provide you with a duplicate title.

Hmmm.... Why would someone screw on a tag that doesn't match???

P.M sent..

Is there any reason why I should not post up the vin for all to view??? I don't want that fender tag to make the whole car sale thing sound fishy. It's not stolen, at least as far as I know and what the NICB.org site is saying. I bought the car from the owner over 12 years ago...
Let me know I'll make the vin public.
