the faked tag on the car was probably made up when the original tag was MIA.
Thought the original tag and the car were united again, so I wonder why it still carries the fake?

original tag is very rusty and only readable fully from behind

yes but the first line on the top is different as well as the VON isn't the same. Compare your old tag to the new one.
It is NOT a reproduction of the old one

i would hope they clean up the old one best they can and get it back on the car or have a new one made that is correct
