Hey Gang,

I just stumbled across a pretty cool find and wondering how rare it actually is.  I'm buying it regardless, but was just curious how many are known to exist in this combo just for curiosity sake. :scratchchin:  All numbers matching 69 Charger, RT/SE, B5/White top and stripe, blue interior, wood wheel, tach, console, AM/FM, rear defroster, light package, A36 axle (PS cooler still there too!), power windows (and they work as well  :2thumbs: ), and the driver's seat appears to have a bunch of lever on it (maybe the six way adjustable jobby?  Not sure..never seen one!).  I'm seeing on the 69 Registry that  there are 1,521 known with the P31 option.  Any idea how many RT/SEs with that option?  Pretty cool car, still owned by the original family. Has some rust issues and a few dented body panels, but it's all there and runs and drives.  SE badges on the sail panels still there too.  Neat to see a car like this sitting in someone's garage waiting to be saved.  Thanks for any insight on the numbers produced in that combo.

Cheers

I passed up a numbers matching, Hemi-Orange '70 RT/SE, 440 auto, back about 14-15 years ago (young and dumb), and have been kicking myself in the ass ever since.

Can you get pics of the car your speaking about?

Jason,

I just looked at the car this evening, but didn't take any pictures since I knew I was buying it before I even looked at it. :icon_smile_big:  Once I saw all the options it had, I was even more impressed.  Never seen the six way seat or PW in a Charger before, so it helped me overlook the rust issues.  Defenitley worthy of saving, and it runs and drives!  I'll post up when I get it here this weekend.   :2thumbs:

Cheers

Interior.  And you can see the rear defroster, AM/FM radio, and power windows :2thumbs:  It's missing the console, but I have one ;) And it's missing the tach too, but I can pick one of those up easy.

Engine shot.  Numbers match, 054 radiator is there, power steering cooler present too for the A36 axle package.  Original exhaust manifolds and carburetor are in the trunk (like they should be in all these old cars :eyes:) I don't think those valve covers are correct.  But that's small stuff.  More pics when I get it home this weekend.

Wow what a find!
I swear, when I see a photo of an unrestored car like that, I can almost smell the car. Weird huh?

Yup, and no 3spd wipers either? :scratchchin:  I guess whoever bought it ran out of money after they got the SE package and Axle? :shruggy:  Beats me.  Looking forward to tearing it down and starting a factory restoration this fall.  I'm real close with getting my 56 Nomad on the road, and have this coming in tomorrow:... :coolgleamA:  It's a clone, but a pretty darn close one (18 spline 4spd, 68 HP 440 with a complete 6pk, and coincidentally...B5 Blue!   :2thumbs:
