Gasket match rpm intake

Im sure this has been asked before, but is it worth my while to match the rpm intake to the rpm heads, and if so how far in should I go. :icon_smile_question: The heads seem a pretty good match to the gasket but the intake is as much as .130" off. Looks more like the sizing for the stock iron heads. Engine is 448 ci, around 500HP, thanks.

There's no harm in gasket matching but in reality it's not a huge issue unless the port opening is smaller than the intake runner. That scenario creates a step and will impede flow. Blend it in about 1in after gasket matching and you're good to go  :2thumbs:
