seat hieght

ive recently put some after market seats in my 73 charger and i ended up making my own brackets but i dont know if its setting the seat up to high ,there s no dash or console or steering wheel so its hard to judge weather its to high ,does anyone know what the height  from the top of the seat to the roof on a stock unit is .any help would be nice
