twice I have written nice long descriptions about my new 69 Charger project, and tried to attach pics. The computer says that something isn't right(can't remember what), and then it deletes my whole ad. I am looking forward to chatting with you all, and getting the much needed advice!
Thanks,
Jason.

Make sure they are less than 200kb in size and if the file name is a common one, it'll say that file has already been posted. What I do is rename the file and mash the keyboard with the palm of my hand like this: hgyuyghjhu9835vWBRU9P. It's highly unlikely there's another pic with that name.
One more tip, after you write the description, right click and copy it just incase it gets deleted when you post.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

I had the same problem for a long time and finely went to photobucket.com  :2thumbs:.

Or just type a period in the message box each time you try to post pics and write your long description later.

This site will help you get your pics down below 200 kb if you need to: http://picresize.com/

Wow, I figured it out! Thanks for ALL of the help fellas! Now since I know the pics are going up, Here is the story............
Well, I finally decided that I had better find a Charger, if I was ever going to live my dream of having one.
Much like many of you, the Dukes of Hazzard was part of the lust to have one of these legends. When I was just a kid, my Dad and I would watch the General fly, and the Dukes ALWAYS saved the day! Fast forward 30 years, and the pictures you have seen, are the beginning of my dream coming true! Even though shes rough around the edges, and will take a LOT of work probably...........and IS intimidating........due to the amount of work, When I lay awake at night, I can still smile and say.............Thank you God, I finally have my 69 Charger.
I bought this car, the day after my birthday. It was COLD (here in WI) on Jan 9th, and I looked the car over, and gave the guy some cash as my down money, but would come back, when hopefully it was a tad warmer. 2 LONG weeks later a buddy of mine drove to get it. That morning it was 24* BELOW zero..... :brickwall:...WOW, I picked that one WRONG! The trip went ok, and now it's safely tucked in MY garage!  :2thumbs:

What I know about it so far,
It was a Hamatrack car, 383 auto, column shift auto, Green, with white interior, and white top. Apparently it had a buddy seat too.
As I'm sure you can tell, it has had the 4 speed transplanted(my first job to finish), it has a Dana 60 with 4:10's. I think it was also an AC car.

It Kinda sucks, as I didn't find a fender tag anywhere. I would LOVE to have it, but as they say..........S%&T happens.
And to think, my first muscle car(70 sport satellite), had the tag, and 3 broadcast sheets!
I'm not sure of what color the Charger will be when I'm done, but I sure hope it's as nice as a lot of the ones on this site!!!! Kinda Like Bobby's General Project! :drool5:
Thanks for ALL of your help, and guidance with my car, I am sure I will be asking for awhile!!!!

Hey Bobby and welcome.
I'd stick with that yellow if it's factory.
Looks like the Sunfire Yellow we had on our Chryslers of that era in Australia.
In fact I'm just now having my Aussie Charger resprayed Sunfire.
Looks horn if you ask me.

Gotta love a '69

Anytime I type a lot of words I copy and paste before I hit post, just in case it all goes into cyber space Heaven and doesn't come back.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Yep if the fan is on the firewall it's a factory A/C car.  Looks great.  Keep posting pictures please.

Lets see auto column and auto console and 4 speed hump welded in with 2 pedals that looks dam confusing  :shruggy: !!??
What the Hell-Dumass !

flyboyedwards

The console is just sitting there, and the column shift seems to be original. The 4 speed hump is welded in.

Come on Wisconsin weather............WARM UP! I finally have my 69, and NEED to get some work done!!!

Awesome!

I use Photoscape to resize and crop photos.

There are a lot of restoration threads in this forum, you can find anything you need to see in one or many of them with a little searching.

I considered painting mine yellow, way back when but went back with stock silver.

It's a Boy Scout car. Be prepared. It's definitely prepared for anything.
