Is this Switch and Bearing Retainer plate available as a replacement?  Column is for 70 B-Body, floor shift.  If not, anybody have one in their spare parts?

Cool Nacho, let me know if you think of it. Patronus is getting me a pic, but it looks entirely different from the diagram I found for a 69.

I could even use a tracing of one, if someone has a loose one, but does not want to sell.  I may have to take apart the column shift, presently in the car and do just that or use it for now.

I have one, but I'm overseas. I don't think shipping would be expensive by regular mail, but sure will take around 20 days or a month to get it delivered... I'm searching on the web though

Ok Nacho, no problem.  Thanks for all the searching.  I am hoping that retainer is the same for both a console shift and one without, it should be.  I will have to pull my wheel to find out.  It is just a flat piece of metal, so I should be able to copy it.  If not, I will borrow that piece until I find one at some point to replace it.  The existing column will just sit, being stored with some of my other original parts.

Thanks Nacho, that guy does have one available.  But, thanks to Patronus, he sent me a pic of the one he has from a 69, it is the same too!

 to you both!  That is why this site is so great!

Special Thanks to Patronus for offering me a free one.
