So I tried to install my frame connectors...

and they don't fit.  I ordered them from Mancini... they are advertised to fit 66-72 1/2 B Body...

My question is, did I just get the wrong parts, or is that a mis-advertisment that the same connector would fit all those years?

The reason the don't fit by the way is that they are too long and even if the length was right, the "tabs" at the back that go up each side of the frame are not long enough.

I assume they are advertised for 66-72 but fit 68-70 can you massage them to work for you ??

You need to cut the floor up a little bit to get the rear tabs to move up where they should be.

even if I cut the floor they are still too long.  It was my understanding that no cutting was necessary?

return them and get some competition engineering units. They went on perfect on my 69 charger

he is working with a 66 which I assume is different than the 68-70 , I wouldnotch the subframe connectors & bend them before cutting the floor pan
