How hard is it to change the Rear Main seal on 95 Camaro?

I am swapping out a bad 3.4 motor on a 95 Camaro with a used one I got from a junk yard. I am planning to change the water pump, thermostat, trans seal. Is it difficult to change the rear main seal? My old engine was leaking like a siv there and I'd rather change it before I put the new one in. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Sid

I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!

If it's a one piece seal (Which it should be), with the engine out, it's a breeze..Pop out the old seal, pop in the new one...If it's a TWO PIECE, that's a little more involved...Need to be careful prying out the old seal thoguh, as you can damage the crank snout..

Thanks for the info. It is a one piece seal. Easy enough to get out with a seal puller, but my next question is...How do I press the new one back in? The old seal is set into the block, not flush with it. I can get it in, but I don't have a socket big enough to go around that seal to knock it into the block far enough. Any suggestions? I tried calling the local parts stores for a tool, but cannot fiind one.
