Tonight I was reminiscing on the Specialty Wheel group buy thread (http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,62474.0.html) and realized we're woefully lacking pics of all these new wheels you guys allegedly purchased and installed on your cars. So now's your big chance. Please post pics of your new Magnum 500 and Recall wheels (or whatever) you bought with the group buy. I think Steve's '67 is the only one I've seen pics of so far.

You suckers owe me. :cussing:  ;)

Those look nice. :2thumbs: Are you happy with them?

They look good. :2thumbs:

They fit good. :coolgleamA:

But...

It'll be a couple of years until I can tell you how the car drives with them on it, though. :eek2:

I'm pleased with them.

Thanks again, Bull.

Okay - I got in on that.  I was anxious to lose the 14" wheels and thought the Magnum 500's looked just fine on the car.  Very happy with the stance, no clearance issues.  Thanks, Bull.

Nice!

So where do you live? I see a Les Schwab truck, lots of trees and wet pavement so you must live in Oregon or Washington.

Brass

Right you are!  I live in Seattle and grew up in the Portland area - west side.  That photo was taken from my cell phone the day I had the tires mounted.

bull

Oh, a west sider? So like Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro, West Linn, Tualatin? Or maybe Lake Nonegro? :icon_smile_big:

Brass

Well we were in Sellwood on the East side until I was eight - then we moved to Aloha so my dad could be closer to work at Tekronix.  So I associate more with that area.  Seems like ancient history.  You're in Portland, right Bull?  Whereabouts?

I'm east side, in Fairview near Gresham and Troutdale. Was born in California and then we moved to Hillsboro when I was a year old and then to Eastern Oregon when I was 2. I lived there until I was in my early 20s and then moved to the Portland area. I've spent time on the west side too in Wilsonville, Tualatin and Sherwood.

Patronus

I'm hoping to add my pic to this list, just can't decide.. :scratchchin:
Brass, if you dont mind me asking, what did those magnums cost?
Also, big thanks to Bull for the opportunity!!!!!  :2thumbs:

Pardon the hijack..........Patronus, I just bought 6 new Magnums from Wheel Vintiques for $150 each. I have 2 new 8x15's in the boxes if somebody needs a couple wheels. Why did I buy 6 wheels?............long story. Cheers

Nothing wrong with that idea.

Hey Bull, didn't you end up buying a set of Specialty Wheels?  What did you end up getting and how do they look?  Any pics?  Are you happy with them?

After seeing your Specialty Wheel threads, I am thinking I might have to order me a set of their 15-inch Magnum 500's.   :scratchchin:

I am leaning towards a pair of 245/60R15 upfront with 8" wheel and 4" backspacing and a pair of 295/50R15 in the back on 10" wheels with 4.5" backspacing.

bull

I'm not quite there yet but I did mount the rears recently having finished the rear end restoration. These are 15x8s with 295/50/15 Coopers.

I finally grew tired of the Weld Wheels I've had on the car since I've had it, so I bought some Magnums this past spring... 275/60-15 on 15x8s rear and 225/70-15 on 15x7s front...

I also bought a set of the flag decals for the center caps, I think they look better than the regular "bull's eye"...
