Dont ask me how this guy can see this thing in the air but I wouldn't want to get hit by it.

Man, at those speeds, you've got to be pretty light on the controls!

Man that has to be very intense. My RC plane only runs around 100 and after running a tank of fuel out of it which is around 10 minutes run time, I'm ready for a rest.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

That thing goes high enough that he should have to file a flight plan!

I had no idea they made turbines that small. :o I wonder how much power it puts out? Pretty amazing piece of engineering. :2thumbs:

Would that turbine work on a scooter?   :scratchchin:

Check the guys page he attaches it to his mountain bike. Doesn't go very fast though.

As soon as the terrorists see this video they'll probably attach a suitcase nuke to one.

I used to be really big in the RC Hobby and I have helped build a RC Jet a couple of times. The first one was of an F16 and it ran about 240mph the pilot knows his stuff for that build which cost him $10,000 so yeah some of them are not cheap. The second on I helped build was about I think close to that but I cant remember. I built the engines, JUST THE ENGINES! and this is what happens when things go wrong  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aajp-A43glA&feature=fvw

That B29 is amazing and looks a bit more manageable than that 400 mph jet. Maybe someday I will get my little Blade helicopter to the point where I can do more than just hover without picking up pieces off the lawn.  :P

myk

I've always wanted to fly an R/C chopper but it looks like you almost have to be a "real" helicopter pilot to actually enjoy an R/C one.  Meanwhile I remember the R/C plane I built with my dad when I was a kid.  Took us a year to build and about 5 minutes to destroy when I got my right/left mixed up with the plane coming at me...

Wow great stuff!! There is so much out there to watch.  The concord, a flying transforming BUS!

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

him and the guy that built the plane it self are awesome builders, they taught me alot. But shit happens and that was a lot of money that smashed into the ground. those two engines where a pita to get together.... the directions where in japanese so I had to wing it. I have built a few before those so I knew what I was doing but never got into those engines before.

As far as choppers. They make some things that you can attach to it that will help you learn with out crashing. I have seen guys make a thin metal ring that hooks to the bottom but is so wide that if you pitch to hard and start to crash it will let the chopper land right side up. Thats how I learned, but with something made for the chopper it was a huge thin metal X on the bottom.

I dont know who this is but someone at the hobby shop I go to told me to check this out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW150U-RuTE

this carrier landing would be cooler if it was actually floating in the water in rough seas...................
