Happy pre-turkey gang!
My question is what do I use to re-glue the jacking instruction sheet to the trunk lid? Thanks

So you were able to preserve your original instructions? That's pretty cool. What about someting like 3M trim spray adhesive?

yeah I was thinking of that as well

Just remember to let it get sticky before attaching it to the trunk lid.  A minute or two usually does it.

CDN72SE,
I wish I could take credit for removing the instructions intact but a guy at the body shop did it. He was able to save all but a dime size bottom cornerof it, I think its plenty good enough to reapply.

ChgrSteve67,
Have you got that sweet teardrop polished up for the next cruize? Our car is done so we'll be there for the next one.
The 3M stuff's not a bad idea........I'd be curious to know what the factory used.

Thanks guys

Sorry to take you thread off topic.
The Tear is under a car cover for the winter.

Cruising is over for the year and I'm working on my winter project of repainting and touching up my engine bay. The tear drop is for my trip next year to MI (CEMA-45th Birthday of the Dodge Charger) and Route 66 (Chicago to LA). Your welcome to join in, Its going to be a great 6,000 mile trip.

I'm thinking the factory had the instruction sheets made with adhesive on the back of them already. (Peal and Stick)

I'm also thinking a very light dusting of glue will do you.

Match it up with your original before buying.
I have bought a couple over the years from different suppliers with each being a little off. Some the spacing, others it's the color of the text.

ODZKing I hear ya but I was curious about the original adhesive used back in the day. I'm reusing the original off the car because its in excellent shape. :yesnod:
