Wiring harness question

My friend and I were taking the harness out of the engine bay in my 73 charger SE and he said baiscally all of connections and wires are the same for his first gen dodge with a 360 can anyone confirm or deny this?

Very basically.  Your car has electronic ignition and an electronic regulator. different plugs to the headlights I believe and of course nothing for the headlight motors.

So just to get it running and save I could get a harness out of a junkyard for one of those trucks because the harness I have is completely shot
