WARNING: Mopar Enthusiast Magazine is no more

Just a heads up that it appears as if Mopar Enthusiast magazine is no more
if the report in this months Mopar Collectors Guide is correct.  And, I
have received no reply to an email that I sent them this week regarding
any verification of the magazines demise and possible refunds.   My email
was received and read by a Larry Jewett this week, but again no reply.  So
if your subscription is coming due...DO NOT RENEW.  This also goes for their
entire range of magazines including; Mustang Enthusiast, Chevy
Enthusiast, Corvette Enthusiast, Pontiac Enthusiast, Musclecar Enthusiast
in addition to Cars & Parts magazine, as they are also affected.   I have
a subscription to Musclecar Enthusiast in addition to Mopar Enthusiast, so
it looks as if I lose twice!   I am not very happy as I just renewed my
subscription to Mopar Enthusiast; I guess that's what I get for being
proactive!  They have not replied with the status of any of their
magazines, but according to a Corvette site, all titles will be combined
into one title called "Auto Enthusiast".    What this means to Mopar fans,
is another GM heavy magazine...not what I subscribed to, as I already get
Car Craft and Hot Rod, with all the GM stories I need. It's a bit disturbing
to find out this news through another magazine, so much for how
Amos Publishing treats its loyal readers!   I will not be subscribing to their
new magazine and I hope others will feel the same about a company that
appears at the very least, unethical for taking renewals on a magazine
that was having trouble, and then offering no refunds on money that was
paid in good faith.  Please pass the word so others will not mail in renewals
only to find that they will receive nothing in return.

My advice is to avoid any publication from:  Amos Automotive Publishing,
Inc.   :rotz:

You need to be leary of any magizine that tries to get you to renew when you still have years left on a current subription.  It's a definite sign of cash flow problems.

I got screwed! I just renewed at Carlisle.
Is the Old Car's and parts price guide part of the group of mags shut down?

I picked up an issue of Corvette last month and they had a little blurb about one of the other Corvette magazines (Corvette Enth. I believe) combining with them.  This may be what is going to happen with some of the brands....

Yes, I follow them too. :icon_smile_blackeye:....
