Where's Steve P been lately? :shruggy: He hasn't posted since late August.

Steve P.

I'm right here Bill....  Crazy times have me busy practicing NOT GIVING OTHERS HELL.... I do come on and fix things here and there and try to keep up on some stuff, but the fact is, I can't stand to see my car sitting not getting anything done on it.... The new house killed the bank account and the lousy economy has killed my parts sales. So I am just vegging. The 65' is still inside the shop at my old house and will be till I can afford to do the new shop here. No sense in moving a thing with no power in my new shop. I can at least still do some PAY work at the old house.

Other than that, well,,,, I still eat, therefor I exists.  ;)

Hang in there Steve.  We luv ya! Wishing you good things.  :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Yeah been a while since I bought it from you even. Engine started right up on it and after a few adjustments it really dialed in nice. Haven't been able to drive so only experiences were in neutral so far. No leaks at all though :2thumbs:

TERRIBLE, that is great. It has been a while but the gaskets used in that carb are the good ones and should have lasted. I just can't remember how long it's been!!  lol..
Glad she fired right up and you got her running well.

RD, I was buying and selling parts and wheels locally. Just about anything mopar, but it has dried up around here pretty bad. I was doing very well in wheels, but all I come across anymore is junk and Stage Coach wheels. I hate them and won't deal with them at all. I'm hoping things turn soon. I have sold off just about everything I had and haven't seen anything worth a crap in months to buy.... Oh well. Life goes on......

Steve P.

Regrettably no.... I just can't do the walking anymore. Especially on uneven ground. It's a real pisser, but I can still get around, just really limited these days. Topping that off, I can't even afford to pay attention these days. Going and seeing parts I need and cars that are done just hurts these days...  ::)

Hey Steve, Glad your still around. I know all about the back pain.  :pity:  I miss your jokes.  ;D

Steve P.

Thanks hun. I really miss you and everyone else here. I just can't sit and read and type as I use to.

I hope all are doing well and your getting your cars done and cruising them. One day I'll be back at it....  Remodeling this house just really kicked my azz and my wallet.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

I was also wondering about you Steve.  I knew your back has given you issues - hang in there!

My car also hasn't gotten much attention from me for quite some time but I have done a lot around the house/yard!  I'll post some pics one of these days.

Steve P.

Damn Shakey, I figured you were done with her by now!!!!  You had been going great guns for a long time...

I know what you mean with doing the house thing. This new (TO US) house has put quite a hurting on us. Still not done outside and it seems that more and more problems just keep popping up. Most problems here are due to POOR to NO maintenance. The old owner "repaired" everything with rags, bailing wire and electrical tape. Only he never used the electrical tape on ANYTHING ELECTRICAL....  :icon_smile_blackeye: Just this morning I found termites in the front wall under the window.. Yes, I am ready to watch it BURN..  :RantExplode:
