 How about E-bodys  do they change from 70-71   72? to 73-74? reason being I have 1.0 bars in the 500 and if I could get heavier bars put the 1.0s in my sons Challenger which is a 74 and get heavier bars for the 500. :shruggy:

Off the top of myhead, I this is the break down;

62-72 B body and 70-74 E body are all the same.

73-79 B body are all the same

All A body are the same

All C body are the same, but won't interchange with the 73-79 B body.

It was the rubber subframe mounting deal as I recall.

From 1973-up (until well after 1974) all the B-bodies got the K-frames riding on rubber mounts instead of solid-mounted to the unibody.  In the rear they started poking the torsion bars through the tranny crossmember, and bolted on a separate cushioned T-bar anchor right behind it.  That meant the T-bars themseves had to grow a couple inches longer than before because the front T-bar mounts in the LCAs had not moved.

The E-bodies kept the solid 1972-down K-frame setup until the end of their run in 1974.
