Ive never sold anything but be very careful I had a truck on ebay a few years ago and a guy from France said he wanted the truck and would send me a extra $2000 for shipping I had a buy it now price and told him if he wanted it to hit the buy it now. I knew something wasnt right and because he never hit it but said he sent a check out to me well in the meantime someone hit the buy it now and bought the truck. 2 weeks later I get a check from this guy saying to send the $2000 for shipping to his shipping company which it was a womans name not a company name and they would contact me I was thinking this is crazy i took the check which looked real as day to my bank and they checked it out and of course it was fake they even said they would of cashed it because it looked so real. I never contacted the guy i just wanted to see if he would ever contact me again and he didnt.

I sold to Holland thru an Ebay sale. I opened an account at a commercial bank, Had them wire the funds to the account, Then I closed out the account. They have to take care of all the shipping and import issues. After I got the money I sent the signed title and bill of sale and Fed Ex'ed it to the seller. I think they trusted me because of the the good Ebay feedback I had.

It seems reasonable for them to verfiy that you have a clean title and that the title is for the car VIN, etc. They will need to do a bunch of work to import the car and get the transporation set up. Just make sure they don't offer any "funny" payment schemes. If that happens "abort mission".

The oweness is really on them to initiate the transationaction by paying you with "cleared funds".

My buyer arranged transport and they came to my front door and picked up the car. I never saw it again after that. It was trucked to Long Beach, CA and then shipped overseas.

We, overseas buyers are always the risctakers if the deal is done without meeting in person.
A bankaccountnumber, copy of title and bill of sale is all we need. Original papers has to go with the car for customclearence in your port.
