I have to say thanks to all of you experts. I have been reading and following along for several months. The site has really helped my in my project. Have replaced all of the rusted parts and just started putting things back together. Geting close to actually putting wheels back on it. Anyway, I am in the process of putting the front suspension back together on my charger. Upgraded the front brakes to disc. I am having trouble with locating struts for the front. As you know the originals are a solid bar, for some reason mine were cut in halve.  I have been unable to locate a replacement bar, other than the upgraded piston type of struts. Anyone have any suggestions?  Find a replacement bar or use the newer piston type?

Are you talking about the torsion bars?

What year?

Not the torsion bars.... this is the bar from the LCA to the front cross member. In looking at some front suspension diagrams, it is called a stabilizer bar and strut, even a tension bar. The vehicle is a 1969 Charger.
