I have a 1968 Charger R/T with a 383 6 pack. I have excessive engine pressure (enough pressure that it's blowing oil out the dip stick tube and other places). I have replaced the PCV valve. Any help would be great.

sounds like it's time for a rebuild. Excessive blow-by past piston rings is gonna be the culprit most likely.

Are you sure that the breather opposite of the PCV is clear and working? (PCV is typically on the passenger side valve cover and the breather on the driver side cover). If the breather "isn't" it can certainly create pressure.

check the vacuum line on the PCV. The valve can work, but the line could be plugged. :scratchchin:

And pcv filter and or breather can be an issue as well...   PCV=Positive Crankcase Ventilation
