:brickwall:  OK, is there a trick to getting this little roll pin out?
The one on my car is broken and I have another but can't get it off the e-brake rod.   :shruggy:

I used a Mac PP4 straight shank punch which I believe is a 3/32" but that was not stamped on the side of it like my Craftsman is. The Mac is what I have at home and I'm comparing it by feel to the Craftsman at work so don't quote me on that size. Whatever fits inside the plastic hole will work as long as it's not too small or tapered. Too small and it can get jammed inside the roll pin. Tapered and it will get jammed inside the handle.

Yeah, I'm going to have to pick something up because I've tried everything I have.  Thing is, this is on the bench and I can't get it out.  What is the broken end going to be like hanging in the air in the car?
Back in 78, Chrysler sold a replacement that was chrome with a set screw.  So when the plastic one broke, you could break the remainder off and just put this one on.  Now it's NS1.
