On business travel in WY but flew into Denver. On the way up I25 (northbound) just north of the airport loop we passed a huge yard on the eastern side of the interstate near exit 235. It was next to Colorado National Speedway.

Didn't see much as we buzzed the place but would love to kill an day mulling around in it that's for sure.  :yesnod: Anyone know anything about it. Can't get any info from street view and didn't catch a name as we went by.

I think this link will zoom you to it.  (I think I got the link correct this time)

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=&vps=5&jsv=276b&sll=40.073014,-104.977798&sspn=0.05747,0.132093&ie=UTF8&geocode=FU53YwIdoyq--Q&split=0

Ok, the link works but its zoomed way out and I can't figure out how to modify the zoom level in the link..  :scratchchin:  If you grab the zoom on the left and zoom in it will show the yard.

Looks like the 2nd yard down from the highway is the yard you want.

Yea, no kidding. It looks like some of the western yard was cleaned up??

Looks like a big yard can anny one make out the sign ??? number any thing ?
What the Hell-Dumass !

bakerhillpins

Zooming past the pole with the # displayed on it didn't help me remember it.  :brickwall:

Google street view blurred out the sign in the road photos. Mostly just wondering if anyone local had anything to say about it.

Man I tell you, if you are looking for old pickup trucks... spend a few days driving around Wyoming. Sheesh. They are in just about every backyard.  :yesnod:

Yes, they are big and they have a pretty large selection of old stuff. However, you won't find a shell of a '69 Hemi R/T sitting in an undisturbed corner, or a primo guage cluster for your '67. All teh really good stuff has typically been picked over, but there are the occasional odds and ends that help out with resto.
