Remember Universal allowed the Incredible Hulk to make an episode using movie footage?

Thanks guys, had no idea it made it to DVD. Funny about Hulk being brought up as we have been debating Hulk vs Thor as a joke at work and my son just explained there is a DVD of that (cartoon) too!

Duel was Steven Spielberg's first full-length feature film under contract with Universal. Apparently it was popular enough to get a run in movie theaters too.

I think he also said it only took him like 21 days to shot as well.

Yeah, he shot Duel on a stupid-fast schedule and had no right to get it done that well in that much time.  That movie was what got him the Jaws deal.

The dinosaur sound effect when the truck goes over the cliff was used again at the end of Jaws, as a nod to Duel.  It's very faintly heard during that underwater shot where the shark's blown-apart body is sinking.

Here is the website for the guy who owns the Mack from Convoy, and who used to own the dual truck. Just look for the link "Dualpage1".

I loved the movie, but I always wanted to know what the heck was under the hood of the truck, boy could it pull up a hill in a hurry................
