I have one that has been refurbished by Deweys and it has been painted.  I installed it on my car, but it would not work as there was not enough vacuum.  I also have one that needs to be restored.

I just sent my '69 to Prior Brakes out in Texas... will get it back in a few weeks and let you know how it looks/works. From other threads on other sites, they are a great option and can get yours reman'd for $100 or so.
