Ok, I got this 742 housing 323 suregrip third member and this is the yoke on/off of it. I ned to install a new pinion seal. My question is what U joint will fit it. It doesn't seem to be a standard mopart, maybe it is just older than I think. It has a part #on it.2533178 also is inclosed a picture.thanks all. Steve

That yoke is for a Spicer u-joint. Most Mopars used the Detroit type u-joint (7260 or 7290) but many '67 cars used the Spicer as did some trucks/vans.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

john,

i am not sure if i am asking the right question with this, but i will try.  i have a friend that attests to the spicer u joint, will only use the spicer...does spicer make a u joint for the above style yoke as well as the detroit style?  i am unfamiliar with the above yoke, that is why i am asking.  thanks in advance.
