I had a friend that owned a T/A. We brought his down . mount my spoiler on his to make sure it fit. Then just measured all the holes.

Make your own template with a large piece of cardboard.
Push mounting studs thru trace the outer edge of spoiler then transfer to deck lid.

Any idea what the measurements were? Where did you get your spoiler from? I don't have any friends with a T/A I could do that with. The spoiler I have doesn't have actual studs built in like I pictured in my mind from there description I think you slide the 1 inch by 3 inch or so brackets that have studs connected to into the spoiler then the  threads go through the deck lid and get nuts on the bottom. I'm not sure exactly hit this is how it gos I could be wrong. It would be nice if it atleast had instructions can anyone post pics of there's during assembly or after pics so I see how it gos together

I got my spoiler from Dale's Cuda Shop. And my studs were the same way. I don't remember the measurements. It looks like you can get a template from FPAP http://fpap.com/catalog.htm .

thanks for the link i'll have to order the template. is your made of ABS plastic? do you have any installation/installed pics of the spoiler? i'm still unclear on how its assembled it came with some screws, studed brackets, nuts and the metal clips that slide on each side of something with a nut welded on one side. i bought hood pins at the same time as the spoiler and the hood pin box had dales cuda shop on it so i guess they are the pin supplier for yearone i wonder if the spoilers are from dales to?

I don't have any pics. My spoiler is not open on the bottom. It was already painted flat black. There are 4 small screws. They get screwed in from the bottom of the truck lid , 2 at both ends. There are no marks on the truck lid. The mounting kit kinda slides around in the spoiler til you mount it. Make sure you use something to seal around the screws and studs so it does leak.  :2thumbs:
