Why does my 1967 charger stall when making a right turn. It has new fuel tank, new fuel lines, new fuel pump ( mech). Holley 600 vac sec. I drove it all last summer without any problems. This year second time out and it started happening. Throw into neutral and it starts right back up, driving straight no problems. Mash the pedal and still no problems, it only seems to happen on right turns. And I know you guys will says don't turn right, but that's a whole new problem since I can't get to the beer store without turning right. Any help would be great, since I am going to a cruise in on Saturday

The front float in your carb is set a little to low. In fact it may have pin hole in it and need to be replaced. side hung holley floats like you have are the only creatures on earth that will do this. When only turning right.

It might be the float then. When it started doing it I put in a rebuild kit. It still did it after the kit was installed. I would think though if the float had a pin hole it would be filling with gas. It did not feel like it was, but I will recheck it. Thanks for the tip........

If all else fails drive to the beer store in reverse so it is all lefts! Then check your float levels. Priorities... Priorities.

One says low, one says high. Can I get a third opinion to break the tie ?
