Any classic Ford discussion boards out there? I have a set of, we think, '62/'63 Ford tri-power carbs from a Thunderbird, but may have other applications.. Looking to get a feel for the value on these for a friend....

Did you do a search on Ebay?

Yes call me Mr Obvious.

I'll check and see if I can find a board for you.

It's the semi-hidden Ford freak in me that is doing this.

Try these guys, big board of old style hot rods, they may be able to help.

From the pic, those don't look like Ford tri-power carbs. I used to have a set from a 406. The Ford carbs are chopped off at the back, not rounded like Mopars...sort of as if they sawed a 4-barrel in half. The filter gasket surface does go all the way around, though.

These guys will be able to tell for sure; http://www.hptrends.com/

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
