Good choice on mufflers

I've got a 68 Charger with a 383 Magnum that just got rebuilt. It's got a cam that has a pretty good lope to it and I want to open up the exhaust a little more to hear it. I've got 2.5in pipes going back with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. As weird as this sounds it is pretty loud from 800-2000 RPM's then gets quiet. I considered Flowmaster 40's but don't like the raspy sound they give. Looking for something a little louder than what i've got but not too raspy like the Flowmaster 40's.

For those that don't know what the Dynomax Super Turbo's are like, they sound just like a Magnaflow.

Also, is it worth it to do an H pipe?
