was there ever a Mopar called "Super Coupe"? topic of discussion around the cars this evening.

I recall a recent thread on moparts.com (yeah, I know, I still lurk there...  :shruggy:) about a guy who just scored one from the original owner, after chasing it for several years, for 850 bucks. One of the better buys I've heard of lately.

I "street raced" one back in late 77 with my new Z/28 he gave a darn good run for the money, not that ether was a "real" muscle car. My lunch was packed and handed to me by any good old school muscle back then.  :yesnod: (I just couldn't pass up a new Z/28 for 6,300.00 back then)

My former Super Coupe [aspen version] is for sale on Moparts. Not mine anymore.
If anyone is serious about buying one, it's a great example, lots of options, very solid, and likely one of the ones used in advertising back then.
