Best way to fix rear broken wheel stud

Nope, just drive the broken stub out with a punch and install a new one. Be sure the replacement has the exact duplicate diameter and serrations and pull it into the flange with a nut over a spacer.

A little Anti-seize compound on the stud threads is helpful.

Be carefull hammering on the axle flange.  You don't want to stress out the wheel bearings.  I'd support it from behind with a block of wood - or something else that'll take the impact.

A hammer huh, isn't there a tool like a "press kit"  available. Maybe a rent a tool from a auto-parts place. I hate to use brute force. Thanks

I've used a larger socket on the back and a C clamp...    tighten the clamp and the stud gets pushed into the socket without hammering anything - I do the opposite to install the stud.

thats a good idea i'll have to remember that next time i have to do any of mine. i had one one my charger when i first bought it. that had the wheel on but 3 of the 5 lug nuts had to be cut off because they  were rusted so bad didnt even look like a lug nut anymore resembled a button head screw haha.  and actually could turn the whole stud in the flange. must of been poor quality studs that rust easy because i got stock sized replacement studs and are tight as can be.
